I would think waking up covered in blood, and my rich husband dead would have me crying and losing it, but Paris has other things to worry about, apparently.
I am also a sucker for a true crime podcast and this book had one! Drew Malcolm has a podcast called “Things We Do in the Dark”. He has an episode about Ice Queen Ruby Reyes who is about to get out of prison. This Ice Queen also threatens Paris with something from her past. Why is this Ice Queen going after Paris? How are they connected?
Whenever I thought I knew where this book was going, the author threw in something new! This kept me reading into the wee morning hours!
