Dungeon Club: Time To Party by Molly Knox Ostertag and Xanthe Bouma
Second in the Dungeon Club graphic novel series. Olivia and Jess are still playing D&D along with Tyler. But Sam and Sammi have joined the group as well. All seem to be having fun, but each is dealing with some problem. Some are simple, like Sammi has a crush on a boy, and she doesn’t know how to tell him. But others are a little more serious. Olivia’s family still wants her to find a more productive hobby. Now her older sister is home, and she has changed. She is no longer focused on music and is considering changing her major. Music was always her thing. She loved it! What happened? Will Olivia lose her love of D&D? Will she change? Will all her friends change?
I am not a fan of change, and I have been told that change in your life is the one thing that never changes—or something like that. Basically, you need to get used to the fact that things are going to change in your life, but that doesn’t mean it will be a bad thing. I still struggle with this. I really don’t like change.
It’s another fun story, both in their lives and in the game. And there is a third installment!
