4 out of 5 Magical Coffee Cups

From goodreads.com

Shay Miller wants to find love, but it eludes her. She wants to be fulfilled, but her job is a dead end. She wants to belong, but her life is increasingly lonely.

Until Shay meets the Moore sisters. Cassandra and Jane live a life of glamorous perfection, and always get what they desire. When they invite Shay into their circle, everything seems to get better. Shay would die for them to like her. She may have to.

My review:

First off, it is odd to sit down to read a book with this title. It just feels weird. I can’t help but look around before I start to read. Just to make sure…

Less than 100 pages in, and I already felt that there would be too many characters. It also looked like each one was going to have their own “Point of View” chapter. I had to keep a little list next to me with a few facts about each character to keep them straight. I’m not great with names, so others might not have this issue. I also wanted to keep as many details nearby, just in case. What information is vital to the story? What do I need to remember about these people to figure out what is going on in this book?

I have read a few books by these ladies now, so I know to expect some crazy twists. They did not disappoint. There is not much I can say about the book without giving away too many hints or twists. This book gave me some trust issues. That is what I will say.

I’m looking forward to more books from these authors.
