A Thriller! I was excited to jump into this one! Piper Gray has just started a new school and is exploring her new town. As she wanders the local cemetery, she comes across the grave of a seventeen-year-old girl named Layla Trello. Piper does a little digging and discovers that Layla was murdered and the case is still unsolved. Piper decides to start a podcast about Layla’s murder in hopes of bringing attention to the case and hopefully help solve it!
As the podcast episodes gain popularity, more and more eyes are on Piper, and not all of the attention is good. Some feel that the past needs to stay in the past. Piper starts to receive threats. Should she keep going? Is this worth her own safety?
I loved it so much right up until the very end. I am not sure what I wanted from the ending, but it just felt off. Still, it is worth the read! I would recommend it!
